The Home Builders Association of Greater Southwest Illinois has put together everything you need to know at its Home Show this weekend in Belleville. You’ll find building industry professionals and home improvement products from more than 100 local companies featuring the latest products, services and ideas for your home’s interior and exterior needs.
Scott Mosby, host of KMOX’s “Home Improvement Show,” will broadcast live from the show from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Also on Saturday, you can meet former St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Danny Cox between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. And don’t miss the Kids Zone with facepainting and paintball all three days.
Show hours are 2-8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday at Belle-Clair Fairgrounds, 200 South Belt East in Belleville. Admission is $6; free for children under 12. Seniors, firefighters, police, military, medical professionals and education faculty will get $1 off with proper identification.
Anyone can get $1 off admission by bringing cans of food, linens, toiletries or cleaning supplies. Food donations will go to the Community Interfaith Food Pantry and Faith Baptist Church Food Pantry. Other household items will go to the Violence Prevention Center of Southwesterrn Illinois.
