Hi everyone! I am so excited! My barber Jim Boeving was finally able to open and I was able to get my hair cut. I did have to leave the house at 7 am to make sure I could get in. That is something I never dreamed I would ever have to do! But hey there has been some changes since March 1st right.
However, to my great surprise! When I walked in no other than Whitey Herzog the former Cardinal manager was getting his haircut too! How cool was that. And in honor of that. I am wearing my Cardinal shirt!
But I digress!
So why is June such a great time to put your home on the market?
Here are 3 top reasons why!
1. The amount of inventory is still unbelievably low! We never had a spring market because of all the shutdowns! Because of that, there are still plenty of buyers out there not only wanting to buy but needing to buy! And I have more than a few of them myself! Such as Military buyers, buyers who have sold their homes and need to a place to live and the list go and on! And because of this. We are seeing sellers not only selling fast but for top dollar too!
2. It is the start of the summer selling season! Yes, even though school has been out for months June still is still the start of the summer! And just like every year, but in my professional opinion, because of not having a spring market. I believe this could be the best summer market in decades for sellers!
3. Sellers who list their house at the start of any selling season. Tend to not only sell their house. But often put more money in their pocket by getting better offers than those sellers who wait later in the season. So if you want to get top dollar and sell fast June is your month!
For these reasons and many many more! Is why June is such a great time to put your house on the market!
